About the Author
Following a distinguished 22 year career, Robert Cromwell retired as Special Agent in Charge of one of the FBI’s field divisions. More than half his FBI career involved investigations within the FBI’s Violent Crime Program and he was recognized by the FBI Director as one of the FBI’s most prolific fugitive hunters. Originally from Princeton, NJ, Cromwell served as a New Jersey police officer and a Special Agent with NCIS, the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, before joining the FBI. Following retirement, Cromwell became part owner of the Training Response Network, an online learning center for law enforcement, featuring nationally recognized subject matter experts providing online courses in law enforcement subjects. (www.policecommunity.net) He also serves on the Board of the Innocence Project of Florida, which works to exonerate innocent people wrongfully sent to prison. After 30-plus years of moving all over the country for the government, Bob and his wife, Rosa, retired to Florida to be near their three sons and their son’s young families.
